About nostr-jump

Curated Gateway Policy

A curated, edge-cached Nostr-to-web HTTP gateway running on Cloudflare Workers at j.emre.xyz.

Philosophy

nostr-jump turns Nostr identifiers into fast, static-feeling web pages that preview cleanly on platforms that do not speak Nostr natively, and then hands the reader off to their preferred Nostr client.

Unlike open public instances, this gateway is strictly curated. Only allowlisted pubkeys, event kinds, and relays are queried and served. Foreign or non-allowlisted references are rejected before any relay connection, Cache API write, or KV operation occurs.

Supported Identifiers

  • npub1... and nprofile1... profile pointers
  • note1... and nevent1... short notes and events
  • naddr1... parameterized replaceable events (such as NIP-23 long-form articles)
  • name@domain NIP-05 internet identifiers (resolved only when the resulting pubkey is allowlisted)
  • /p/<hex>, /e/<hex>, and nostr: URI prefixes

Security & Privacy

All event signatures (Schnorr secp256k1) and SHA-256 event IDs are cryptographically verified before caching or rendering. Event content and Markdown are sanitized server-side with strict HTML escaping and Content Security Policy (CSP) headers at the Cloudflare edge.

Moderation & Reporting

In addition to strict pubkey, kind, and relay allowlists, this gateway enforces secondary keyword, hashtag, and NIP-36 content-warning filters. Flagged content is hidden behind an interstitial, excluded from social unfurl previews, and marked with noindex, nofollow, noarchive. To report an event or profile for review or removal, visit /report or contact abuse@emre.xyz.
